Account data: When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name through our authentication provider (Clerk).

Generated models: We store the text prompts you submit and the 3D models (STL files) generated from them, linked to your account.

Usage data: We collect basic analytics (page views, feature usage) through Vercel Analytics to improve the product. This data is aggregated and not personally identifiable.

Payment data: Payment information is processed directly by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number. We retain your Stripe customer ID to manage your subscription.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide and improve the PrintMakerAI service
  • To process your subscription payments via Stripe
  • To generate 3D models from your text prompts using the Anthropic API
  • To communicate service updates and respond to support requests
  • To enforce usage limits based on your subscription tier

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate PrintMakerAI:

  • Clerk — authentication and user management
  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Anthropic API — AI model generation
  • Vercel — frontend hosting and analytics
  • Railway — backend hosting and database

Each service operates under its own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.

4. Data Retention

Your account data and generated models are retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data and generated models within 30 days. Anonymized usage analytics may be retained indefinitely.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Export your generated models at any time
