PrintMakerAI generates editable, export-ready CAD geometry from natural-language descriptions — built for the 3D printing community.
PrintMakerAI is an AI-powered design tool that turns plain-English descriptions into real parametric CAD geometry, manifold-healed for 3D printing and exportable to STL. Unlike mesh-based AI tools, it outputs editable CadQuery code so makers and engineers can iterate on dimensions, add mounting holes, or refine features without starting from scratch.
PrintMakerAI is the first AI-powered generator that produces editable parametric CAD geometry — not static meshes — from natural-language descriptions. Built for the 3D printing community, it runs every export through a multi-stage mesh-healing pipeline that repairs non-manifold edges and flipped normals, so your slicer sees a watertight STL. Where tools like Meshy or Tripo generate visually convincing meshes that fall apart on a print bed, PrintMakerAI writes real CadQuery code that you can edit, re-parameterize, and trust. It's built around three live workflows — Quick Prints for assets, Engineering with Claude for functional parts, and Multi-Part Assembly for complex mechanisms — with more coming. Founded in April 2026 by Nick Urso and headquartered in Rhode Island, PrintMaker AI LLC is self-funded and profitable from day one on a founding-member pricing model.
Nick Urso is a former All-Makes and MOPAR Master Certified Automotive Technician — ranked top 2,000 in North America by Stellantis in 2024. He spent almost a decade as a flat-rate dealer tech before his body couldn’t take it anymore. Once that happened, he saw the trade for what it really was: rigged. So he pivoted. He taught himself AI orchestration over the past year through side projects that had no business working — but did. He built PrintMakerAI solo, without writing a single line of code. The same diagnostic mindset that solved problems manufacturer tech support couldn’t is the same one that looked at AI-powered 3D printing and said “I can do that better.” If you want to engineer something to your liking without having to be an engineer — PrintMakerAI has you.
