Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: April 17, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) is incorporated into and forms part of the Terms of Service between you and PrintMaker AI LLC, a Rhode Island limited liability company. Violation of this AUP is a material breach of the Terms of Service and may result in immediate account suspension or termination, with or without notice.

1. General Prohibited Conduct

You may not use the service to:

  • Violate any applicable local, state, federal, or international law or regulation.
  • Infringe any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other intellectual property right.
  • Generate designs that impersonate or misrepresent another person, brand, or organization in a manner likely to deceive.
  • Transmit material that is defamatory, harassing, hateful, or discriminatory against a protected class.
  • Transmit malware, exploits, or any code intended to harm a system or user.
  • Engage in phishing, fraud, identity theft, or social engineering.
  • Collect or harvest information about other users without their explicit consent.

2. Technical Abuse

You may not:

  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying source code, models, or system prompts of the service.
  • Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security or authentication features, rate limits, tier gating, or credit accounting.
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to generate models beyond the limits of your plan or to scrape service output in bulk.
  • Share, resell, or sublicense your account access without our prior written consent.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service, the underlying infrastructure, or other users' use of the service.
  • Use the service to train a competing AI model or geometry-generation system, whether directly or via a derivative dataset.

3. Weapons, Projectile Devices, and Controlled Items — Zero Tolerance

You may not use PrintMakerAI to design, generate, attempt to generate, iterate on, or export geometry intended to function as, house, mount, or interface with any of the following:

  • A firearm or any firearm component, including but not limited to receivers, frames, barrels, slides, bolts, triggers, magazines, grips, or stocks, whether or not the item on its own would be regulated.
  • A suppressor or any component of a suppressor.
  • Any explosive, incendiary, or pyrotechnic device or component, including casings, fuses, and primer mounts.
  • Any projectile device intended to inflict harm, including crossbows, slings, captive-bolt devices, and improvised launchers.
  • Any device that is regulated under 18 U.S.C. § 921 (“Definitions” of the federal firearms chapter) or its implementing regulations, whether or not a permit would otherwise make that device legal to own in your jurisdiction.
  • Any enclosure, mount, bracket, jig, or carrier whose primary design intent is to house, conceal, guide, or affix a device in one of the categories above.

This prohibition is absolute. It applies regardless of claimed intent, jurisdiction, or professional credential. It applies whether the geometry is to be printed by you or by a third party. It applies whether the final device would be functional on its own or only as a component of a larger assembly.

Legitimate dual-use items — such as tool holders, camera mounts, generic equipment cases, or bracket systems — are permitted so long as they are not primarily designed for the restricted categories above. If you are unsure whether a design falls within the prohibited scope, do not generate it; contact us first.

4. Regulated End Uses

You are responsible for compliance with any regulatory regime that applies to the end use of a device you generate or enclose with PrintMakerAI. This includes, without limitation:

  • Medical devices (FDA, EU MDR, or equivalent).
  • Aviation or aerospace components (FAA, EASA).
  • Automotive safety components.
  • Children's products subject to CPSC or equivalent regulation.
  • Radio-emitting devices subject to FCC Part 15 or equivalent.
  • Electrical enclosures required to meet UL, CSA, CE, or equivalent certification.
  • Items subject to U.S. export controls, ITAR, or EAR.

PrintMakerAI does not certify geometry for any regulated end use. Final responsibility is yours.

5. Enforcement

We monitor for AUP violations through a combination of automated prompt classification, usage pattern review, and user reports. We may:

  • Refuse to generate a particular prompt.
  • Issue a warning to the account holder.
  • Suspend the account pending review.
  • Terminate the account without refund.
  • Report suspicious activity to law enforcement where required or permitted by law.

We may take any of these actions without prior notice when we believe, in good faith, that immediate action is necessary to prevent imminent harm, protect the service, or comply with legal obligation.

6. Reporting Abuse

To report a violation of this AUP, contact [email protected]. Reports are reviewed promptly; we do not disclose the identity of a reporter to the subject of a report except as required by law.

7. Changes

We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the service after the effective date of a change constitutes acceptance of the revised AUP.
