I spent years diagnosing vehicles most techs wouldn't touch — intermittent electrical gremlins, misfire patterns that require reading 15 PIDs at once. That diagnostic mindset doesn't turn off.
When I started 3D printing, every AI tool I tried failed the same way: beautiful previews, unusable exports. Non-manifold edges. Inverted normals. Slicer errors on 80% of downloads. The geometry looked right but wasn't real.
I didn't know how to code. I learned by building this. PrintMakerAI runs a real parametric CAD engine — CadQuery + OCCT — because mesh generators can't produce what a print bed needs.
It's bootstrapped, self-funded, and entirely solo. Rhode Island LLC, formed April 2026. First paying customers the same week.
