Terms of Service

Last updated: April 17, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and PrintMaker AI LLC, a Rhode Island limited liability company (“PrintMaker AI LLC”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or using PrintMakerAI, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, you may not use the service.

1. Service Description

PrintMakerAI is a web application that turns natural-language descriptions, sketches, and uploaded drawings into parametric 3D geometry. Output is delivered as downloadable STL, STEP, or other geometry formats. The service includes an AI agent loop, a parametric CAD kernel, and a mesh-healing pipeline that repairs non-manifold edges, fills mesh defects that are not intentional openings, and validates geometry for FDM 3D printing.

2. Product Boundary

PrintMaker AI LLC provides parametric 3D geometry generation services. Generated output is intended for use as input to third-party slicing software. PrintMakerAI does not generate, export, or configure slicer profiles, gcode, nozzle temperatures, bed temperatures, print speeds, flow rates, retraction settings, cooling parameters, or any other print-execution parameters. The user is solely responsible for slicer configuration, filament profile selection, printer operation, and print outcomes. PrintMaker AI LLC makes no warranty regarding print success, post-slicing dimensional accuracy, compatibility with specific printers, compatibility with specific filament brands or batches, or fitness for any particular print environment.

3. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for, and accept full risk for, each of the following:

  • Selecting and configuring a third-party slicer (PrusaSlicer, OrcaSlicer, Bambu Studio, Cura, or equivalent).
  • Selecting and tuning your filament profile, including nozzle temperature, bed temperature, cooling, flow rate, retraction, and all other print-execution parameters.
  • Verifying exported geometry in your own CAD tool or slicer before printing. This includes confirming dimensions, wall thickness, manifold integrity, orientation, and fit against any physical component the geometry is designed to enclose, interface with, or reference.
  • Operating your 3D printer safely, supervising prints, and responding to any printer malfunction, filament jam, thermal runaway, or fire risk. You are responsible for your printer. PrintMakerAI is not.
  • Complying with all local, state, federal, and international regulations that apply to any device you design, enclose, or reference. This includes FCC rules for radio-emitting devices, local electrical codes, firearms regulations, export controls, and any industry-specific certifications required for your end-use.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” PrintMaker AI LLC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that generated geometry will be correct for your specific application, that the service will be free of defects, that defects will be corrected, or that the service will meet your expectations.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PrintMaker AI LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. This includes, without limitation: failed prints, material waste, printer damage, lost time, lost revenue, lost data, third-party product compatibility, or injury arising from a printed object or the printing process.

In no event shall PrintMaker AI LLC's total liability exceed the fees you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100), whichever is greater.

6. Account, Billing, and Refunds

Accounts are issued per individual. You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use PrintMakerAI.

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel at any time; access continues through the end of your current billing period. Credits reset monthly and do not roll over.

Refunds are available only for geometry defects. Specifically, refund eligibility is scoped to:

  • Non-manifold meshes that the healing pipeline failed to repair before export.
  • Dimensional errors in the exported geometry that exceed the tolerances stated for the selected target material.
  • Failed generations that were nonetheless billed to your subscription credits.
  • Incorrect feature interpretation that is verifiable against the literal text of your prompt.

The following are NOT grounds for a refund: print failures of any kind; slicer configuration issues; filament or material incompatibility; printer malfunction, misconfiguration, or damage; dimensional issues introduced after STL export (including shrinkage, warping, or slicer-side scaling or resizing); layer adhesion problems; supports, bridging, or overhang outcomes; dissatisfaction with aesthetic choices that are not verifiable against the prompt text.

See the Refund Policy for the refund request procedure.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use PrintMakerAI in any way that violates applicable law, infringes the rights of others, or harms the service. Your use is further subject to the Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

8. Intellectual Property

Your geometry: You own the 3D geometry generated from your prompts, sketches, or uploads. You may use, modify, sell, or distribute them freely, subject to Section 7 and applicable law.

Our service: The PrintMakerAI software, user interface, branding, trademarks, and underlying technology remain the property of PrintMaker AI LLC. Your right to use the service is limited to the license granted by your active subscription or free-tier entitlement.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, or applicable law. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, access to the service ends, but you retain ownership of any geometry you have already downloaded. Sections 4, 5, 6 (with respect to past charges), 8, 9, and 11 survive termination.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the service after the effective date of a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not accept a change, you may cancel your account.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Rhode Island, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Providence County, Rhode Island, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts.
